Max is running very poorly
I'm having carb problems.
Was previously having trouble with max not running well and fouling 1
plug
Finely traced problem to a loose main jet that had backed out partly. Fixed
that and bike ran great again.
Second Baby came and house falling apart so max got neglected for about
2 years, not stored properly gas went bad wouldn't run for crap.
Removed carbs and cleaned out real well, replaced and tried again No luck,
battery fryed and winter came I gave up.
This spring new battery new gas bike starts and runs but poorly
seems to be running lean on both left side carbs and slightly lean on right
rear. Can't find any obvious vacuum leaks and looked real well for them.
If I richen up lean barbs with spray carb cleaner it smoothes out and rpms
increase tried backing out idle mix screws some help but not nearly enough.
I'm pretty sure I checked float height when I had the carbs apart. and why
would they change just sitting. I am not a master Mechanic but can almost
am not bad either but am running out of ideas on this one.
Any help or input is welcomed and would be greatly appreciated.
