I was using some little gray metal things .. I think they were rated
at 50 volts and 1/2 or 1/10 of an amp or something ... I really don't
think it would make any difference ... Let me go out and try this
again .. I am not even sure of the direction anymore .... The 4
cylinder option on the tach assumes a 4 cylinder 4 cycle engine ...
and it wants to see 2 pulses per engine revolution ... The Max when
monitoring only one coil looks like a 2 cylinder 4 cycle or a single
cylinder 2 cycle .. both of which would produce 1 pulse per revolution
......... hence .. you see half of what you are supposed to.
