As many of U know, I am not a chain-drive fan, for a street, or mostly
street MAX.
I do, however, have extended driveshafts avail., heavier than stock,
(over 1 1/4" dia., compared to 3/4" stock)
hardened chromoly
( knock on wood, but I have yet to
have one of these break...and I snuffed another stock unit Wed. night,
on that stock 95 I have been riding...summer is HERE, in Denver, and
after a long day at work, just got a little TOO crazy at night..LOL)
They are built on a custom-order basis, from 1" under, to 6" over(Shawn,
my black bike is
3"over), in 1/2" increments.
$200. and shipping.
On the swingarm end of things, am currently talkng with a guy with a
CAD, about making a
swingarm that is longer & wider, chromoly, to just replace, instead of
modifying, the stock arm.
This is in the very EARLY stages, and a couple of steps down the
priority list for new SportMax products, so please don't start
'pre-ordering', or pulling your stock arm...Will post to both Lists when
and if the new arms are avail...Thanx!
I will not be headed West till next week(more work=more delay...),

As I stated in the last PS, Prolong works for me, and other folks as
well...
I have seen it do some simply amazing things, 1st hand...
If it doesn't jive with yours, or someone else's, theories or ideas, so
be it...
I have used it, it works, and works well, for the reason I added it in
the 1st place;
for protection, during momentary oil 'starvation',
the scourge of many a MAX motor, stock or modified....
I would like to add aspirin to someone's blood, then drain all of it,
and see how long he/she
lives, just to prove/disprove how well aspirin helps prevent heart
attacks...
A most fitting analogy, I think, in this case...
I have a couple of skeptics/theorists in mind for volunteers...LOL
