Thanks for taking a look Eric ... I guess the easiest way to find out
is for me to simply ask the guy "what year" this XS1100 was that he
bolted the Vmax rear end to ... He is a mechanic at a Yamaha
dealership ... and a friend of mine was picking up a "parts by the
pound" deal ..... the guy knew we were looking for Vmax rears ... and
that is how this all started. I don't understand the model well enough
to know what the difference is to have a 17 or a 16 inch wheel ... or
any other differences for that matter that might be year or style
dependent. I will find out and post his response ........
