Title: RE: Tank Bags

Hello all,

I can recommend a Bagster. I have used it on both my bikes (Vmax/VFR750) and also friends of me use them.

The tank cover are custom made for the type of bike and fit perfectly. The standard colour combinations of all bikes I know are there.

The cover I leave on the bike when I plan to use a bag frequently (holidays/trips etc.). This protects the dummy from scratching and the "hassle" to put it on.

Bags are in different shapes and sizes. I use the "triangle shaped" model. This provides you with clear view of the gauges on the dummy. Fitting it to the cover is seconds: four clips.

Yet no manoeuvres found out that caused the bag to fly off (except crashing of course!)... Noooo, I am not a fluffy!!

They are not cheap though.

Tc; I've been using a tank bag for years. I don't use the magnetic part,
I use the straps with snap buckles One goes around the neck and the
other is bolted onder the fake tank cover latch. If you can get a body
shop to spray an extra coat of urethane clear with hardener on the tank
you will have all the protection you need. I also keep a towel in the
bottom of my bag to shield the hard cargo from the tank. I use a bag
from Tour Master. The stripes even match my paint. Cheers
