TCAMP30 was right. (THANKS). The wiring in the manual is wrong. My pickup
coils are good. (John) my ignition swith is clean inside and out. As for the
TCI unit, I had a electronics technician open the box today and there is
corrosion in the TCI unit. Also some of the components on the board are not
"potted" sealed from the factory. Additionally, there seems to be some
modification to the board after it was originally assembled though probably
by the factory in 1985. Please let me know if the unit can be repaired for
the 150$ you stated. Thanks Paul VMOA #1141
