They had a demo-ride fest at the Hardley dealer yesterday of Buels. So I
thought, why not.Rode the beast into Hardleyland and signed up for the
ride,got to ride a shinny new Cyclone....My impressions...what a hunk of
junk! With my arms vibrating at idle I thought this is not fun.Tryed getting
on it and was dissapointed at the lack of response. The clutch was'nt adjusted
so had to stay on the brake at stop lights.Once we got going through some
twisties it handled ok,which was the only positive thing I can say about
it.Of the group of test riders I observed ; the clutch problems I had, one
Blast died in the left lane of the freeway, the group before me had a bike
stalling problem. They do these demos to try to sell bikes, you would think
they would be better prepped.Maybe to Hardley riders these Buels are a better
ride,go figure......Also got a lot of interested looks and comments on the
Max.:))
It felt so good to get back on the Beast afterward. They also gave out a $15
gas card for taking the ride, maybe next year they will pay people to ride
these buckets of bolts.Perhaps I was expecting too much.oh well it was fun
anyway, especially the ride home on the mighty Max...:)))
   Enjoying the ride
