Andrew,
I am pretty sure that the helmet lock first appeared on the '96
models, (attached to the removable frame piece on the left side of the
bike .. in front of the shock). I remember all the hassle Paul got
when he mentioned to everyone's surprise that he had one .... You can
see the difference, (presence of the "lock" mounting tab), by
comparing the '94 and '96 microfiche illustrations at HLSM ....
