I rebuilt my engine in february and used Loctite Gasket Eliminator 518
sealant to seal the cases. I was missing the oil pan gasket and also used
this sealent. I took out the tin cup yesterday since I am waiting on a TCI
unit and again used the 518 sealent for the oil pan. Since the rebuild I
have had no oil leaks. The 518 sealent is about $12.00 for a 1.7 oz tube but
you can buy it at the auto parts store if you dont want to wait for the
