My '99 wore out the stock rears in the same mileage as yours. I replaced with EBC
Kevlar stock type replacement on the rear and they lasted over 10,000
miles. I fitted EBC-HH sintered front pads a few thousand ago, they are excellent.
Both are no more damaging to the discs than OEM pads, in fact they are
probably better in terms of disc wear. You can order them from Chapparel, but K&N can
probably also get them for you.
