TH,
This is the URL for the Goodyear Eagle motorcycle slick page .. (all
18 inchers), they even have one for the front ...
 http://www.goodyear.com/us/racing/products/racect14.html
There are selections on that page with up to a 12.9 tread width .....
(did someone say car tire ??) ........

They used to make a 15 inch slick ... but discontinued it about a year
ago I think ... Every once and a while you see someone selling one
.... (a 15 incher) ....... Somebody already mentioned it ... and
possibly it was at Ingo's site but I am sure I have seen a "for sale"
post not too long ago ... with the wheelie bars, struts, Kosman 18
inch rear wheel and a slick .......... and of course it is Kosman who
advertises doing stock wheel alterations.

I was also checking out the "Taking it to the Nines" article in Cycle
World, March '87. The Vmax in that article managed to loose 60 lbs ...
and was running a 5.5x18 inch Kosman wire wheel with a Goodyear 3341
pro-stock slick, (driveshaft and differential intact). With a Kerker
and Stage 7, (Kerker's dyno claimed an improvement from 115 to 124
RWHP and I guess this was the birth of the Kerker 4-2-1 pipe) ... they
just did break into the '9s after putting the main jets back down
where they belonged.
