Title: RE: vboost, hedges

Hi everyone!

My comments on the Dymag/tyres question is this:
I use the Bridgestone 120/60-17 BT56 front (soft) and the 170/60-17 BT57 rear (soft, but some lifespan)
This combination seems to work out best for me, in dry and wet.
My boots and footpegs can confirm this ;-))

I had Metzeler Z2 in the same sizes. Dry they were ok, but became a hazard in the wet. NO GRIP AT ALL!

Then I tried Continental Contiforce. This is the new tire from Continental. Good in the wet and very good for the circuit.

BUT for "normal" (??) use on the public roads not ok. The tire doesn't warm up enough, unless you drive like a maniac all the time. (ambient temperature was about 20 degrees Centigrade) My last trip to Germany the temperature got up to 33 degrees and handling got better. Prove that the tire does not heat up in normal conditions.

Don't get me wrong, the bike isn't standard and handles very well (http://vmax.motox.org/nl.htm), but the Bridgestones just workout better!

Hey Si, those hedges are pretty close as well, y?, especially when you start
heading towards them... heh
Did you sort out the Dymags/tyre combination on your Max?
