I have a stock 99.  I purchased a hole shot 4-1.  After a dyno tune I went from 110hp 
to 121.  Each bike is different but from the factory mine was running way to lean.  
When I would roll out of the gas.  He would put up a popping fit.  After the dyno tune 
he calmed down.  You are going to lose low range power.  He is a dog from idle to 
3,000 rpms, but after that he barks to life!!  It is almost like having two "V" 
stages.  To get the full bennies of the 4-1, some recomend drilling a couple of 1/2" 
hloes in the air filter cover.  See what the guys say on the list.
