The only way that I know to get a 5th gear light is a detent switch .
This would require a transmission disassembly and some machine work .
If the rpm in 5th gear is a bother the only remedies that I know of are
1: A taller tire
2: A taller gear Venture +5% or Royal Star + 10% 3: Chain drive . 4: get
into the relationship of rpm to speed and not spend any money 5: Buy
something like a Gold Wing :) to travel on and keep the Max for raising
hell. These are the only things that I can think of maybe there is a way
to keep up with 5th gear electronically ?
