I just read in Motorcycle Consumer News how to tell when a tire was
manufactured. There is a code on each tire, the last 3 digits are the week
and year it was made. i.e. '258' the 25th week of 1998. For a new model
such as a Dunlop 207 it is definitely '98 since they didn't make them in
'88, but some styles that have been around for more than a decade, there are
triangles that point in different directions to designate the decade.
Dan or anybody else, call them direct they will verify that the super
venom's are discontinued, what you will find is remaining stock once they
are gone there will be no more.
