Someone on the list either posted an in-depth discussion on removing the Y
on the air box or had some stuff on a web site about it. Some of the things
they found were that just putting in a K&N filter did nothing unless you
removed the Y. I've got mine off and it seems to run best that way. It was
too rich with it on. Just try different combos til you find what works for
you or put it on a dyno and fiddle around with it.
