Steve,
        mine starts at 8cmHg at the bottom and goes
up to 42cmHg at the top of the gauge. It steps in
increments of 2cmHg but has 4 hash marks inside each
step so i suppose it can go down to .5cmHg resolution.

and instructions right in front of me.....
