I change oil every 2000 miles ..... I used to do it sooner ... In fact
I am just coming up on another change .. This will be the third change
on synthetic and the Don-O-Lator spin on adapter. I think the
synthetic actually starts life darker than the 20-50 mineral I used to
use, (which always came back out looking pretty clear). I have been
using AC PF1177 filters ... but have been wanting to try one of those
super-duper "synthetic" filters ....... The old "history" plugs are
now finally starting to be re-cycled back into service, (they looked
pretty new when pulled anyhow). Soooooooo ... I took the oldest sets,
sandblasted them and moved them up for one more service cycle .....
