just bought a 92 vmax and found this site on the net...thought i'd join in
to see what info there is on vmax's and to share some stuff i know about.
already rewired the stock headlight circuit to use 14g wire instead of the
stock 18-20g stuff. now has a 90/135 bulb. the new chrome headlight shell
(standard par 46 size, usually found on hogs) should be here this week...so
i can use a cibie 5 3/4 headlight insert. i can email a wiring diagram to
anyone who wants to do it a little differently than the one posted on the
site already.
i have an exhaust question: i am looking for a slip-on canister muffler
that has a deep throaty rumble, not a tinny whiney sound. does anyone make
something like this? any recommendations?
