Tim, did you know that putting your boots on the guards is a no-no? At
least, that's what it said on the little sticker that you probably wore
away along with the chrome. On a lighter note, I'm on my third set of OEM's
(yes, I know: clumsy me) and they've saved not only my engine but also my
feet on several occasions. Since they do tend to 'bend' a little on the
harder impacts, I replace them after every such dump fearing that they
might not hold up as well after being bent back into shape. Is this
overkill? Jacques
