Brake Master cycl kit replacement

Took out my brake M.C. kit about 6 months ago and want to make sure I'm 
putting it back correctly. I thought I did but I'm getting some leakage out 
of the dust boot area. Is this do to incorrect seal placement? Are they 
supposed to go in with the flat ends against each other but separated by the 
washer?
