TC,

I finally got some free time to make the jetting changes you suggested a
couple of months ago. I changed PAJ2 from the CA carburetor stock size
to a Dynojet 160, and instant improvement! I think you were right on in
suspecting the pilot circuit being the cause of my woes. Many thanks!

It runs pretty smooth at low altitudes and all throttle settings, but
poor at high altitudes (7,000 - 8,000'). I'm assuming it runs too rich
up there due to the thinner air.

Next step: I'll play around with the needle settings (currently, I have
Factory needles with the circlip in the second position.). And, those
Dynojet 160's are a LOT smaller than the stock PAJ2's, so thought I
might try Dynyjet 170's instead. Eventually, I plan to replace the
stock Mikuni pilot fuel jets with Mikuni 42.5's, and probably go back to
the stock PAJ2's.

Any thoughts or suggestions? (From anyone, not just TC.)
