I ordered a pair of very slightly used stock '89 shocks from Leo G.
following his posting of "items for sale" a couple weeks ago. I just
received them. They're perfect, but the springs are BLACK !!! (I know,
shoulda asked, but it never came to mind.) Can I replace the black springs
with the chromed ones I'm currently bouncing around on? I know it's a small
detail, but I want to remember what my Max looked like when I bought it.
