Don ; I just used Tyler Pencock's measurement. I think it was 49mm or 48mm.
If I remember right I just turned the carbs upside down so the needles were
seated and measured of one of the edges where the float bowl cover goes I
think. When I had it apart it was obvious which edge since only one of my
floats was off. You can split the carb assembly in half and do two at a
time. It was easy. I never bothered to check them since all runs well. I
knew I had one that was rich because of the blue pipe on the front right
side. That was fixed. Cheers and good luck
