WOW, it was awesome. Phil posted such incredible times I couldn't believe
it! In fact, he was so fast he was invisible...
I drove down to Bandimere from Boulder only to find that it was Junior Drags
night, no Test and Tune, so rather than turn around and drive back I watched
kids 8-17 drive 1 cyl flathead Briggs & Stratton powered dragsters for an
hour or so. Pretty interesting. They were getting 8's for an eighth of a
mile and trap speeds in the mid 70's. I was tempted to offer my Max for a
transplant, but naaaahhhh.
