The wheels are being produced by a well known V-Max speed shop. If you know me at all
from the list you can figure out who I am afiliated with. Hint, Hint. He wants
people to know this is coming but doesn't want to be swamped with phone calls before
he has them in stock.
The wheel hub will be a two piece design that will be able to bolt to any one of over
20 different style hoops. This means that you will be able to change wheels later by
only changing the hoop. Thew will be available in many different sizes as well. The
offset is designed so that you can run a 190 rear in the stock swingarm and possibly a
200 in certain tire brands.
As far as quality control, when I can tell you who is offering these in a few days you
won't even question that any longer. The ones I have seen(prototypes) are comprable
to the finest wheels in the world.
Final prices are still being worked out but they should retail for between $400-$700
less than Dymags. I know that is a broad range but as I said that is still being
worked out.
