My 99 has a problem of what looks like gear oil coming from the pumpkin. The drive shaft side of the rear wheel has oil dots, about four every inch, on the out side of the rim. I brought Mr. Max into the dealer and they tore down the rear end. They said that it is just grease leaking from the rear. A "common problem" and was nothing to worry about. I travel between ALBQ, NM and El Paso, TX (616 miles) once a month. I check the rear fluid all the time and see no loss. I still don't trust those dealers. Team Mister has west Texas and southern New Mexico by the balls. He is the only Yamaha Dealer in the area. Kraig The "P-51" Long Range Max .............................................
