I'm in the MD area but have had bad luck with getting stuff chromed in the area. I am currently getting stuff chromed at S and H in Madison TN and they do a good job. They also do powder coating but I can't vouch for the results of that. It may be worth it to talk to them about what you want done. Also check out Chromemasters (they have a web site).
