Don,
Those little "plugs" are for attaching a CO meter ... I suppose you
can hear a slight difference with them out but they are likely to weep
condensation on startup and I doubt you will hear any difference
except at idle ...... It is possible they may even contribute to a
backfire on deceleration if left open since you really are creating a
small exhaust leak ....... If you want more noise .. drill the center
of the baffle on the mufflers or check out the "list" web site for
some heavy duty drilling on the stockers ............ Leaving those
little guys out is the sign of a desperate man .......
