Dennis, this is not really an accurate way of checking "sag" since your new
springs are substantially stronger than the old ones. Now if the measurements
were taken while you were SITTING on the bike that would be different. Lift
your bike so that the front tire is off the ground and measure the way you did.
Put the bike back on the ground and sit on it with feet on pegs., have someone
measure the same way. Post the results.
