I'm sure I know the answer to this, but it never hurts to ask. Yesterday
while riding in the Texas Hill country and also in the Ozarks, when I'm
coming down a steep incline and braking hard before a curve, the front
end of my 95 starts to "hop" and I get the "clunk" in the steering head.
The tire is a Metzler ME33 Laser, I have a washer in w/Furbur fix, stock
brakes and shocks. Is it time for Emulators? On a positive note, since
I've added the solid motor mounts and braced swing arm, the the tail
doesn't wag in the curves.
Thanks for any advice.
Vern
BTW
I'm planning a Hill Country Rally (TX) for late October, I had a great
time yesterday checking the roads out with Hal Taylor
