Scott, I have to question your math above.  My intentions are not to
pick on anyone but, the calculations appear to be based on a Vmax having
zero HP to start with.  This is not the case.  I come in with 115 HP to
start with.  Cost per HP calculations should begin with the existing HP
as a base line.  In my case, Tourmaster should provide an additional 35
HP.  At a cost of $6000, this equates to approx. $171 per additional
HP.  Vgas is not that much of a bargain either.  An additional 17 HP
will cost approx. $112 per additional HP.  Any way you look at it, that
is a big chunk of change.  I have ridden neither a Tourmaster or a Vgas
bike so perhaps I can't fully appreciate the power gains.

Just my opinion,
