I hope I didn't understand all I thought you said.But in case I did the top
roller bearing is not a pressed fit.Adjustment comes from the torque on the
top of the steering stem shaft to seat the bearings into the races with the
correct torque.If you have a clunk as described when rotating the steering
head you need to replace bearings and races.Bob H
