The 1300 Venture is the motor to use for parts, although I had heard the oiling system in the 1300 crank is half of what is present on the V-Max. I blew up my '94 'max and installed the heads on a '86 Venture bottom end. Aside fom some slight differences, I am happy with the results. Jim VMOA #1027 .............................................
