Forgot something that I found when I replaced my starter clutch. The TCI
pickup had some wire crimps just after the cover. The wires were in bad
shape, one of the two only had 3 strands still connected. When I first saw
them I was alittle miffed at PCW thinking that they had damaged it and
crimped the wires back.. At closer inspection it looks like it may have been
from the factory. I would like to know if anyone else has seen these
"crimps" just past there cover? The shrink tube that was used was also the
wrong type since it had absorbed oil and swelled. I recrimmped and tripple
shrink tubed the connections hoping it will last.
Just something to check for.
