It will take you all of about 20 min to do. It's under the right air ram. The stock
unit is quite a bit larger than the replacement one. It is located just farward of
the fill cap but on the bottom of the water path channel. Don't worry.... the
threaded portion that goes into the water path channel is the same size. I recomend
doing it outside. You are going to lose some fluid when you remove the stock unit.
Refilling with Water Wetter is not such a bad idea either... You are going to have to
splice in the new unit. The connectors are not the same. It does not matter which
wire goes where. It is just a test for continuity. Crimp splicers are to be had at
any AutoParts/Radio Shack. Your fan will run ALOT more. Be prepaired to have your
knees cook at red lights in the summer BUT the temp. needle should never climb above
the middle of the silver ph. screw on the meter.
