In Robert De Grippo's forwarded e-mail, FAE Switch No. CS3753 is listed as
equivalent to the Borg-Warner TFS 545 (which we know is also equivalent to a
Wells SW537). The next switch listed is FAE CS3752, with a higher
temperature range. Does this offer the possibility of the fan coming on
sooner than with the stock switch, but overcoming the "problem" with the
Borg-Warner, which keeps the fan on much of the time, even below midpoint on
the gauge? I'm a fan (get it) of the Borg-Warner or Wells, because I'd
rather have the fan running almost constantly, instead of flirting with the
red line all the time. However, I wouldn't complain if the fan come at a
slightly higher temp. Any thoughts? Any way to find out an equivalent
non-FAE number that Auto Zone, etc., could figure out? Paul D. VMOA #742
