Tom,
I think a MANUAL fan switch is the answer and leave the stock TFS in.
what I found out after installing a Borg Warner TFS is that on the highway
at 60+ mph the fan was still running. so the thing was on all the time, I
installed a switch to turn the fan off to give it a rest.
I agree with you install a manual fan switch and save your money for
something else..
