Thought I'd pass this along from the Virago Owner's Club. I know these aren't our usual sizes for the V-Max, but this kind of information is vital enough to pass on just in case. Metzeler ME 880 in sizes 130/70HR18 M/C 63H TL (week 28, 1999 forward), and 160/80HR16 M/C 80H RF TL (week 23, 1999 forward) may be defective. When used on the Honda Goldwing, there is an instability at speeds over 60mph on roads with high asphalt temperatures.
