1985 TCI Unit, AKA Igniter, AKA Black Box, Yamaha Part # 1FK-82305-09 fits 85-89. If anyone remembers, I bought a new TCI last month to fix a problem with my bike dying under way. The problem turned out to be the return radiator hose from the number 3 cylinder heating up the wiring harness. $2.00 worth of pipe insulation has fixed the problem for over 6 weeks. Therefore, I now have a new TCI unit which I wanted to make available to anyone on the tech list. It was in my bike for less than two week and still has the factory wrapping. The retail on the TCI is $470, I would like $250 (obo) plus shipping COD. I need a new or like new 4 (pole/brush) starter, 1990 up.
