high steve...simon here...the best job 4 your frame would be...imho...
a motoliner frame jig...there's a guy here in ireland who has
straightened max frames in the past...no worries...
these frames ended up 'more true' than they were to begin with...
solid mountz are a must...really fantastic improvement...
i'm going to weld on tabz 4 frame braces this winter...
maybe run them...maybe not...depending on their effectiveness...
i hate the look...but if i have the tabz...i have the choice to fit or
not...you could do the same...if your frame is down to the bare
essentialz...i would consider welding s-arm gussetz around the pivot
pointz...you might as well while you're so far down...it seemz to be a
really good job as the s-arm is a twisty spot that needz to be
strengthened...i'm sure you'll hear many more ideas...i'll watch and
learn meself...take care...i'm glad you are preparing to roll out the
mighty max again...atb...s... :)
