I saw what I thought was an even better idea the other day. A guy had taken
a black coil phone cord amd used cable clamps to attach it to his helmet
lock. Made a loop on the other end and simply hooked it over the handle
bars. Very compact when removed. I know that doesn't quite go with the
theme of your bike but it would work. I think Dennis Kirk sells the
streamers.
