Drive Shaft splines lubrication

Question    85 vmax or any max do the drive shaft splines need to be lubed on 
a regular time or mileage bases I dont see anything in the factory manual 
about this I lube the wheel splines every tire change ...are both ends of the 
shaft splined ? .  Thanks Howard..
