Q:The question asked was with .097 time to go 100 feet what is the Max's speed - how 
do you figure this out?

A:With a radar gun.  It can be done by math, but you are going to get the average 
speed he went, not his top speed at 100 feet.

Case in point: The V-Max and the Confederate V-Twin have the exact 1/4 mile times, but 
the V-Max is 15 miles per hour faster.  This means that the Confererate launches 
faster but the Max has caught him and is in fact passing  him at the timing lights.  
Both bikes if you do the math will have the same average course speed, but very 
different top speeds.
