My wife and I just came across another couple in Galena, Illinois (an arts &
crafts type of community in northwestern Illinois that attracks lots of
motorcycles) that were carrying their new Nolan 100's with them. Their
comments were 100% positive, they'd never go without the lift up feature
again. Being in the market myself for a new helmet, I've tried on the Nolan,
Shoei and another off brand at my local Yamaha dealer, all with the lifting
chin bar design. The Nolan fits my head better than the others and it's way
cheaper than the Shoei ($169.99 + tax at my dealer for the Nolan).
