Well... the bike's loaded on the trailer, the wife is loading the truck, and within the hour I'll be headed for the big, cool north. Err... it is still cool, uh, right guys?! I'm headed for UFO Cycles to leave my baby in the loving care of one Jon Cornell, then on to two weeks worth of no phone, no mail, no solicitors, and hopefully no heat. Look forward to seeing Jon's new wheel designs while I'm there too. My SportMax seat arrived yesterday and I gotta say the workmanship is top-notch. 10 times better fit and finish than my stock seat. The black-on-black-weave has a much better ventilating effect than stock. Combined with the backrest I picked up from Paul(NVenus) it should make for a better perch for my passenger too. For grins and giggles, I set the Exactrep shell on it last night and the effect was transforming. With the tank and the seat you really feel like you're sitting IN the bike. I'm stoked! Installing lightened flywheel, torque rods, Venture rear-end, new brakes, tires, wheels, doo-dads, etc., when I return from vacation. Looks like I may be sleeping in the garage for a while. <bg> Want to say thanks to all who've been so generous with their knowledge.
