Larry,
The units are not interchangeable, (Virago and Vmax). Infact the
1000/1100 uses vacuum sensor input and the 700/750 does not .. both
have two coil outputs instead of four as on the Vmax .. etc .. etc ...
All you can do is tell the guy what you have and see what he thinks. I
am pretty sure that Rocky Mountain SportMax and Exactrep both
advertise the ability to have VMAX TCI units repaired.
