Good Luck------ I ordered a backrest from Yamaha almost two months ago and
they still cannot give me a time frame as to when it will arrive.

Hello, I just bought my V-Max this week and love it so far! I was wondering
if anybody had a line on where I might find a backrest for my wife aside
from Yamaha, who wants $237 for one. Can I do better elsewhere?
PS: FYI, the former owner of my '95 Max had two of them and rode the other
one to Brazil! Can anybody top THAT ride? Unfortunately, he was killed in
Brazil on his bike a few weeks ago. I will certainly try to be careful on
mine.
