Paintwork Colour

I recently shipped home a 1989 V.Max from Ontario Canada that I bought while there on holiday, the bike has been resprayed at some point over the past couple of years and is now pearlescant white. There are no vehicles or motorcycles sold here in that colour.  Unfortunatly while in the process of being put together after shipping the fuel tank has picked up a small chip. I dont want to have the tank resprayed as I have spent all my money buying it and shipping it back here to Scotland I would rather send for a touch up stick in the hope that I can blend in the chip without having to repaint the whole tank.  Could anyone please help me find out what vehicles in Canada and America were painted this colour so that I can obtain some paint...........   Thanks John.
