I have a 2000 with supertrapps. I have ran 6 discs, 12 discs, and now am running 8 discs to compromise on the loudness. I took the Y out of my air box and the bike had a drastic decrease in responsiveness. I put the Y back on right away. I am running vboost full time . My otherwise stock 2000 runs much better with the Y. Rick .............................................
